The Tennessee Titans may have dropped their preseason finale to the Chicago Bears, but they did get solid performances from developmental players who will have roles in the regular season.
One of those players, edge Femi Oladejo, may have had his best game since entering the league as a second-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and it looks like he is coming into his own in Robert Saleh’s defense.

“A lot more prepared. I think Coach Whitecotton’s given us a lot of wisdom and knowledge of just about ball and what to expect from our linemen and the blocking schemes and how to win in this league as well.”
A raw prospect coming out of college, the second-year
linebacker finally looks healthy after missing the majority of his rookie season with a broken leg and is starting to show some signs of developing into a potential impact player on the edge. Always known as a stout run defender, he flashed some of his pass rush skills against the Bears, and that could be significant moving forward.
The Titans need their edge unit to step up in 2026 and give the pass rush a boost; if they do, Tennessee’s defense has a chance to be one of the better units in the league
