The Tennessee Titans have received significant contributions from their rookie class, and those have not gone unnoticed by those outside of the organization. Early in October, rookie linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. rode his early-season play into being named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month for September, and now, Hill has some company.
On Thursday, the NFL named Titans rookie wide receiver Carnell Tate Offensive Rookie of the Month for October.

Tate broke out in October, and the fourth overall selection in the 2026 NFL Draft established himself as the Titans’ top wideout and, at times, looked dominant. Despite
missing Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals, Tate finished the month with 21 receptions for 290 yards (13.8 average) and one touchdown, and led all rookies in receiving yards and first-down receptions.
With Tate earning this award and joining Hill from September, it marks the first time in the organization's history that two rookies have earned the award in the same season.
Here is the short list of Titans who have earned NFL Rookie of the Month honors.
- 1996 RB Eddie George (Sept.)
- 1999 DE Jevon Kearse (Sept., Nov., Dec.)
- 2008 RB Chris Johnson (Sept.)
- 2015 QB Marcus Mariota (Sept.)
- 2019 WR A.J. Brown (Dec.)
- 2026 LB Anthony Hill Jr. (Sept.)
