The Tennessee Titans were back at practice ahead of a Week 1 game against the New York Jets this Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. Kickoff is scheduled for noon CDT.
At practice, Tennessee welcomed their latest addition, former Indianapolis Colts cornerback Jaylon Jones, who was reunited with defensive coordinator Gus Bradley in Nashville. That familiarity should help him get up to speed quickly and could lead to early playing time.
Outside of welcoming Jones to the team, the Titans had almost a full complement of players take part, with only linebacker Cedric Gray sitting out as he navigates the NFL’s concussion protocol. With every passing day, it becomes unlikely that Gray will be able to go against the Jets, which could give
James Williams or Anthony Hill Jr. extra snaps in the season opener.
Here is the Titans' full Thursday injury report:
Did not participate
- LB Cedric Gray (concussion)
