When the Tennessee Titans take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, the Titans’ offense will have its hands full against one of the league's top defensive tackles, Dexter Lawrence.
Lawrence was traded to the Bengals in the offseason from the New York Giants, where he played for the Titans' new offensive coordinator, Brian Daboll. At his weekly media availability, Daboll was asked about Lawrence and what Tennessee should expect.

“Dexter Lawrence, amongst, I mean, there’s a lot of good players; they’ve added a group of guys: Amante, Allen, Cook; I mean, they’re a veteran group in a lot of areas. Al’s done a great job. But, you know, it’s hard; he’s
a hard man to block, and that’s where it starts,” he said.
The Titans’ offensive line has struggled a bit in the running game, and facing Lawrence and the Bengals’ front will be a challenge this week, especially with Cam Ward struggling with consistency this season. Last week against the Cleveland Browns, the Titans got Tony Pollard going, and that was a significant reason why Tennessee was close at the end.
This week, already without leading receiver Carnell Tate, who is out with a shoulder injury, the Titans can only pull off an upset by establishing the run and controlling the line of scrimmage, and that means slowing down a game-wrecker.
