The Tennessee Titans held their Blue & White Stadium Scrimmage on Friday as the final stadium practice at the current Nissan Stadium. When Cam Ward entered the stadium, the fans showed him how much support he has, and he showed them exactly what they needed to see.
Ward connected with multiple receivers, including a sick one-handed grab from Carnell Tate, and gave the fans a taste of what to expect in 2026. After the game, Ward addressed the press, where he talked about the impact of working with Brian Daboll.

"I do, because of seeing the game
in a different aspect," Ward says in response to a question. "Especially being with Coach Daboll and Coach Shea (Tierney), I'm trying to see it from everybody's perspective, just behind. You gotta be able to help the O-linemen out when they're not at their best, and you gotta be able to help the running backs and receivers out when they're not at their best, and that's why I have to be pinpoint accurate with the football. There's a lot to it, and I think this system is allowing everybody to play at a faster rate where we get to the line of scrimmage faster on all ends. I think the system is part of it."
ESPN's Turron Davenport then asks Ward how that process has been so far with Daboll. "It's been great," Ward replies. "Coach Dabes, he lets me be me. He warns me when I need to be a better decision-maker, but he never holds me back. He wants me to go out there a confident gunslinger, whether that's throwing it down the field, checking down, or throwing it across the middle. He keeps giving me pointers on knowing the situation and when to do some of the things, but I think that's really going to help myself and the team this year."
There are high expectations for Cam Ward in Year 2, and if last night's scrimmage is any indication of what we'll see this season, this year will have a very different outcome than 2025.
