The Tennessee Titans will face the Chicago Bears in their preseason finale on Saturday night, and some players will have one final chance before league-mandated cuts on Sunday.
While the majority of the Titans’ roster spots are likely locked up, there are a few position battles that could gain some clarity against the Bears, and a few players could work their way into the 53 best players on the roster.
This should be another outstanding showcase, and here is a look at some of the bubble players who could help their cause.
WR Bryce Oliver
The wide receiver battle is going to be one to watch, and after looking at the statistical breakdown from camp, Oliver may need to show some flash as a receiver in the finale. Everyone understands he is an outstanding special-teams
contributor, but Tennessee could use more than that when making up their final 53.
WR Xavier Restrepo
Restrepo could see some added reps if Tennessee decides to be cautious with Wan’Dale Robinson after he was shaken up in practice. Restrepo has flashed with all of the quarterbacks in camp, and now could see some time with the starters. If he can continue to shine as a receiver and add anything to special teams, he could slide into one of the final spots on the roster.
G Cordell Volson
What the Titans do along the offensive line when they make up the final 53 is an unknown. Volson brings some NFL experience to the room, but his lack of positional flexibility could hold him back. A strong performance against Chicago could help his cause.
LB Dorian Mausi
Like Oliver, Mausi is a tremendous special teams performer, but what he does on defense matters, especially with the Titans likely to keep fewer linebackers in 2026. Mausi had a rough outing in Week 1 of the preseason against the San Francisco 49ers and did not play against Seattle, giving him this week to make a final splash.
CB Mario Goodrich
Goodrich was a late addition to training camp but has made some plays. While Micah Robinson appears to have played his way into the fifth cornerback role, another strong showing by Goodrich could push him into the conversation for the sixth cornerback position.
S Erick Hallett
While many believe Hallett has done enough in camp to earn a roster spot, he could solidify that with a strong performance against the Bears. He has been one of the most consistent members of the secondary, and he does bring some special teams value.
