The Tennessee Titans played a strong game against the Philadelphia Eagles but fell 24-20 in Week 2. While Tennessee played better this week and had a lot more positives than negatives, it still wasn’t enough.
The Titans still have issues in their secondary and too often gave up chunk plays on critical money downs, which again led to a time-of-possession disparity. Cam Ward and the offense were better, but came up short.
Following the game, head coach Robert Saleh gave an honest assessment of the afternoon.

“There's no moral victories. There's going to be things that we've got to improve on. Like I told our team, we're going to be sick when we watch
this tape, because we should be 1-1 right now. But we're not, and that's credit to Philly. They executed. It sucks. Whether you lose by 100 or in the last second, it doesn't matter; they all suck."
He’s absolutely right; the Eagles executed, and Tennessee has a lot to work on heading into Week 3. While there were some good things, their inability to get off the field on third down should be a major focus heading into their matchup with the New York Giants, and who knows, maybe they can pull off their first win of 2026.
