On Sunday, the Tennessee Titans cut their roster down to 53-players, and by Monday afternoon, that unit looks much different. Tennessee made a flurry of roster moves as the cuts became official, adding three waiver claims and at least one outside veteran.
On waivers, the Titans were awarded linebacker Owen Pappoe from the Arizona Cardinals, cornerback Melvin Smith Jr from the Kansas City Chiefs, and defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse from the Green Bay Packers.

Claimed
LB Owen Pappoe (Cardinals)
DB Melvin Smith Jr (Chiefs)
NT Nazir Stackhouse (Packers)
None of the the players Tenn released were claimed by other teams.
Pappoe is intriguing as a special-teams type linebacker, who could be viewed similarly to Dorian
Mausi, who was placed on injured reserve during the Sunday cuts.
Following those moves, Mike Garafolo reported that Tennessee was signing veteran safety Terrell Burgess to the 53-man roster. Burgess had been with the New Orleans Saints during training camp and will now join the Titans' secondary.

To start making room for these four players, Tennessee released linebacker Mohamoud Diabate and defensive backs Erick Hallett and Jerrick Reed II.

And now after claims, the second wave of cuts begin: The Titans are waiving CB Mohamoud Diabate, who has 18 career starts.

The Titans' final move will not make some fans happy. Justin Melo reports the Titans are releasing wide receiver Xavier Restrepo.

Feel-good story waits a little longer. The Titans kept Restrepo on the initial 53 yesterday, but waived him today after making new 4 additions.
Strong bet Restrepo lands back on the practice squad.
The Titans will now turn their attention to the practice squad and could add all four of these players if they clear waivers.
