Former Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis has found his next NFL opportunity, signing with the New York Jets’ practice squad. After being released by Tennessee on August 30th, Levis worked out for the Jets on September 3rd.
The Jets are now adding Levis nearly three weeks later, replacing QB Bailey Zappe, who is being released, according to NFL Reporter Tom Pelissero.

Levis spent three seasons with the Titans after Tennessee selected him No. 33 overall in the 2023 NFL
Draft. He started 21 games for the franchise, going 5-16 while throwing for 3,899 yards, 21 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.
The Titans' decision to waive Levis waived Levis was somewhat a surprise, but after signing QB Mitchell Trubisky to be Cam Ward's backup, Levis was on borrowed time in Tennessee.
Now, Levis gets a fresh opportunity in New York. Geno Smith remains the Jets’ starter, while rookie Cade Klubnik is currently behind him on the active roster. Levis gives the Jets another quarterback with NFL starting experience as he looks to work his way back into an NFL game-day role.
