The Tennessee Titans have got off to a slow start, stumbling out of the gate with losses to the New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles to kick off the 2026 season.
Nothing for the Titans has gotten rolling, especially some of the higher-priced free agents that general manager Mike Borgonzi invested in. And if you believe Alex Kay of Bleacher Report, Tennessee is already regretting one of those deals.

Wan'Dale Robinson established himself as one of the NFL's top possession receivers during the latter half of his four-year tenure with the New York Giants. Robinson parlayed his immense slot talents into a blockbuster contract offer from the Tennessee
Titans this offseason.
After two weeks of play, it doesn't seem that either side is benefiting from the new arrangement.
Robinson was supposed to be a safety valve for up-and-coming quarterback Cam Ward, but the pair can't seem to connect. The battery has only connected six times this season, generating a meager 47 yards and zero touchdowns in two defeats.
There is no doubt that Robinson has got off to a slow start, but so has the rest of the offense. Between an uneven performance against the Jets and a more conservative approach against the Eagles, Robinson has not been a focal point of the offense. There is also a significant time-of-possession problem that wasn’t mentioned. Both the Jets and the Eagles dominated in that regard and limited Cam Ward and the offense.
At this point, like many things, this is likely an early-season overreaction, and Robinson will likely take on a larger role as the season wears on.
