The Tennessee Titans followed up a disappointing Week 1 loss to the New York Jets with an inspiring Week 2 performance against the Philadelphia Eagles. However, there are no moral victories, as the Titans fell to 0-2 after conceding a game-winning touchdown drive to Jalen Hurts and the Eagles' offense.
Despite the loss, the Titans can take a ton of good things away from competing and nearly defeating a perennial Super Bowl contender. Here’s a look at the snap counts from Tennessee's Week 2 loss to the Eagles.

For the second consecutive week to open the 2026 NFL season, the Titans defense played significantly more snaps than their offense. Although they performed better as a team this week, each unit failed to close the game to secure the win.
Following his impressive showing during his first NFL game in Week 1, Anthony Hill Jr. was named the Titans' starting middle linebacker on Friday and proceeded to play 100% of their defensive snaps again in Week 2. Returning LB Cedric Gray was limited to 30 snaps in his season debut following a concussion injury.
The Titans' offense needs to sustain drives better earlier in the game, while the defense needs to halt more drives earlier throughout the game if they want to avoid a dreaded 0-3 start to the season in Week 3 against the New York Giants.
