Following a tough but encouraging loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2, the Tennessee Titans head to New York to take on the Giants in Week 3. With the weather forecast expecting a lot of rain, the team made a practice squad elevation at an important position to prepare for the conditions.

The Titans used only one of their two standard practice squad elevations this week, with RB Michael Carter receiving the call-up. This marks the first time this season that Carter will
be active on game day. The Titans' backup RB Tyjae Spears is listed as questionable with an ankle injury, so Carter's designation reflects that.
With RBs Tony Pollard, Nick Singleton, and Julius Chestnut already on the roster, Carter will likely be a special teams contributor and emergency option in the backfield in case of injury if Spears is ultimately inactive. The Titans will take on the Giants at 1 PM EST/12 PM CST on Sunday at MetLife Stadium, with CBS carrying it on TV.
