On what was a quieter day at Vanderbilt Football Health Center, the Tennessee Titans took a look at six defensive backs at the facility as they continue to scour the landscape for added competition.
Per the NFL transaction wire, the players who traveled to Nashville for the workout were Alex Austin, Miles Battle, Al'zillin Hamilton, Kobee Minor, Eric Rogers, and A.J. Woods.
Austin is the most experienced of the group. A former seventh-round pick of the Buffalo Bills in the 2023 NFL Draft, he has bounced around the league since being released prior to his rookie season, spending time with the Houston Texans (2023), New England Patriots (2023-2025), and going to training camp with the Miami Dolphins earlier this year. For his career, he has seen
action in 26 games (all with the Patriots), making 31 total tackles (25 solo) and one interception.
Battle also has some NFL experience, seeing action in six games with the Patriots from 2024-2025, making five total tackles. Originally an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs, he spent time on their practice squad before joining New England. Like Austin, he was in training camp with the Dolphins in 2026. Hamilton, Minor, Rogers, and Woods have no regular-season NFL experience.
Tennessee did not make any moves on Thursday to either the active 53-man roster or the practice squad. They will return to practice next week and put the final touches on the preparations for their season opener against the New York Jets.
