The Tennessee Titans took the field for their first of three practices ahead of a Week 1 game against the New York Jets this Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. Kickoff is scheduled for noon CDT.
Incredibly, after what many players have claimed was the hardest training camp of their careers, Tennessee enters the regular season remarkably healthy heading into the matchup with the Jets, with only Cedric Gray (concussion protocol) listed on the injury report.
Gray did not practice Wednesday, but head coach Robert Saleh said he believes he has a shot at suiting up against the Jets if he can clear protocol.
Wednesday was a great sign for rookie first-round pick Keldric Faulk, who missed the final weeks of training camp and the preseason
dealing with a shoulder injury. While the missed time cost him valuable reps, his availability for the opener is no longer in question, as he returned to practice and declared himself 100 percent.
