The Tennessee Titans have wrapped up training camp and the preseason, and finished an uneven week with a 25-15 loss to the Chicago Bears in the preseason finale.
With the preseason behind them, all of the attention now turns to general manager Mike Borgonzi, who must trim Tennessee’s roster from 91 players to 53 before his attention turns to the practice squad. Borgonzi has plenty of work to do. Will he look outside the organization for help on the offensive line or with the pass rush?
The Titans will face some difficult decisions on both sides of the ball. Will they keep six wide receivers? Is former starting quarterback Will Levis worth a roster spot? How will special teams prowess factor into the final roster makeup? Who will be the surprise
addition to the final 53-man roster?
We’re tracking the Titans’ roster cuts as they happen before Sunday’s deadline. Stay tuned to this page for updates.
Roster cuts deadline
The NFL requires all 32 teams to trim their rosters down to 53 players by Sunday, Aug. 30, at 6 p.m. ET.
Where are the Titans in the waiver order?
The initial waiver order matches the 2026 NFL Draft order before trades, but it will change after Week 3. That means the Titans are No. 4 in the waiver order.
