Tennessee Titans cornerback Joshua Williams will have to wait at least another week to return to game action. On Saturday, the Titans declined to activate him from injured reserve and downgraded the cornerback to out.
The Titans opened Williams' 21-day practice window on Wednesday, and the veteran returned to practice, going full in all three sessions as he returns from the pec injury that cost him valuable reps in training camp.
Tennessee added Williams along with Cor’Dale Flott and Alontae Taylor as they overhauled their secondary this offseason. The expectation was that Williams would add size, but unfortunately, they haven't seen him fully healthy yet.
The veteran cornerback came from the Kansas City Chiefs and is a valuable backup and special
teamer, though he battled injuries and was limited to only 17 snaps for Kansas City in 2025.
The Titans take on the Texans on Sunday afternoon at Nissan Stadium in Week 5 action.
