The Tennessee Titans finalized the deal that was announced late last week and officially signed former Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Nazeeh Johnson and released undrafted rookie free agent (UDFA) cornerback Latrell McCutchin Sr. with an injury designation.
If he clears waivers, McCutchin will revert to injured reserve for the season or until the Titans release him with an injury settlement. That will be an interesting off-field situation to monitor. Tennessee invested a lot of resources scouting McCutchin during the pre-draft process and then signed him as a UDFA following the draft.

In the announcement, the Titans listed Johnson as a cornerback, clarifying
speculation about where he would see most of his reps once camp opens, but it also raises a question about potential safety depth early in camp, with Amani Hooker on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list to start camp.
Tennessee did sign Tony Adams during the offseason to help bolster depth at safety, but really has a lot of unproven options behind him and projected starters Kevin Winston Jr. and Hooker, making it a position to watch if general manager Mike Borgonzi decides to add another veteran presence for Robert Saleh’s defense early in training camp.
