The Tennessee Titans hosted the Chicago Bears for their third and final preseason game of 2026 on Saturday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. It was a rough start, with the Titans going three-and-out, followed by a Bears' 97-yard touchdown pass on the first play of the next drive.
The Bears never really looked back after that, and while the Titans fought back later in the game, they ultimately fell short and lost 24-15.
Part of the reason the Titans managed to fight back was because of the play of second-year edge rusher Femi Oladejo.
Oladejo's name was called several times during the game after making plays that halted the progress of the Bears' offense, and that's why he's been named this week's Titans Wire Player of the Game.

recorded four tackles (two solo), one sack, one quarterback hit, and one tackle for a loss. But the key to those stats is when they occurred. After the Bears successfully converted on fourth down four times, Oladejo was responsible for stopping them on their fifth attempt. That forced them to turn the ball over on downs, and the Titans kicked their third field goal on the next drive.
He was consistently where the Titans needed him to be against the Bears, and he showed glimmers of why the Titans drafted him in 2025 to begin with. His rookie season was marred by injury, allowing him to appear in just six games, and his on-field play was a bit of a disappointment. Tonight, Femi reminded us who he is and why the Titans need him on defense.
