The Charlotte Hornets put forth a disappointing effort Friday night, falling short to the Washington Wizards 95-79. The Hornets struggled to put the ball through the hoop, scoring just 13 points in the third quarter and shooting 30% from the field throughout the contest. Of all 13 players to appear in the contest for Charlotte, only two finished with a field goal percentage of 50% or better, those being Tidjane Salaun (2-for-2) and Ryan Kalkbrenner (1-for-1), who combined for six points.
Brandon Miller led the team in scoring, as he's done all year, finishing with 19 points. Moussa Diabate and Naz Reid added double-doubles as well. For the Wizards, four players finished in double figures, including Anthony Davis, who finished with a game-high
25 points. Trae Young (21), AJ Dybantsa (17) and Kyshawn George (12) all scored double digits as well. Prior to Charlotte's next matchup Saturday against the Philadelphia 76ers, here are the best photos from Friday's game.
