The Charlotte Hornets landed former Louisville guard Terry Rozier III in a sign and trade deal with the Celtics, sending franchise legend Kemba Walker to Boston. Rozier III, a former No. 16 overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, spent four and a half seasons with the Hornets, starting in all 298 of his appearances with the team.
In those games, Rozier III averaged 20 points, 4.7 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 0.3 blocks while shooting 43.6% from the field and 37.2% from beyond the arc. He was later traded to the Heat and played 95 games with Miami. As it stands, Rozier III, a 32-year-old, has yet to see NBA action since the 2024-25 season due to an illegal sports betting scandal. In 10 NBA seasons, Rozier III holds career averages of 13.9
points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 0.9 steals in 665 games.
