NBA Hall of Famer Robert Parish was the first player in Charlotte Hornets franchise history to wear the No. 00. Parish had an illustrious career, with great success between the Golden State Warriors and most notably the Boston Celtics. After 14 consecutive seasons with Boston, "The Chief" played two seasons in Charlotte.
In 155 games for the franchise, Parish averaged 4.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.3 steals and 0.6 blocks in 15.7 minutes per contest. His strongest campaign overall came with Boston in the 1981-82 season, where he finished in fourth in MVP voting while averaging 19.9 points, 10.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.9 steals and 2.4 blocks. Parish won four championships in his career, three with the Celtics and one with the Chicago
Bulls in his 21st and final season. The nine-time All-Star also is second on the all-time games played list, having suited up in 1,611 contests.
