Following their final preseason game against the Memphis Grizzlies, the Charlotte Hornets finalized their 18-man roster. After waiving Exhibit 10 signee Wyatt Fricks and veteran swingman Pat Connaughton earlier in the week, Charlotte waived Jarkel Joiner and Latrell Wrightsell Saturday.
Although the Hornets made plenty of trades throughout the offseason, Charlotte didn't bring in a single free agent on a standard contract. That said, their roster is much different from a season ago, as it includes six new players: Grayson Allen, Royce O'Neale, Naz Reid, Dennis Schroder, Hannes Steinbach and Christian Anderson Jr. Charlotte's official roster to enter the 2026-27 season reads as follows:
Guards
Coby White
Dennis Schroder
Grayson Allen
Sion James
Christian
Anderson Jr.
Kylan Boswell (two-way contract)
Forwards
Kon Knueppel
Brandon Miller
Liam McNeeley
Tidjane Salaun
Royce O'Neale
Naz Reid
Grant Williams
Michael Ajayi (two-way contract)
Centers

PJ Hall (two-way contract)
