Ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season, ESPN is ranking the league's top-100 players. With a strong mix of young stars and veteran talent, a handful of Charlotte Hornets players were chosen.
94. Coby White
Coby White was the first Hornets player to make an appearance on the list. While he only played 21 games with Charlotte after being acquired at the February trade deadline, White is expected to contribute more in a starting role this fall. Throughout his seven-year career, White holds career averages of 15.4 points, 3.9 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 0.7 steals.
81. Naz Reid
Ahead of White is recent trade acquisition Naz Reid. Reid, a former Sixth Man of the Year Award winner, is expected to be a full-time starter for the first time in his seven-year career. The former LSU center
holds career averages of 11.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.9 blocks and 0.7 steals while shooting 37.1% from beyond the arc.
48. Kon Knueppel
Kon Knueppel burst onto the scene during his rookie season, leading the NBA in 3-pointers made. That said, he proved himself to be more than just a shooter. Knueppel averaged 18.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.2 blocks while shooting 47.5% from the field and 42.5% from beyond the arc.
46. Brandon Miller
Just ahead of Knueppel is former Alabama forward Brandon Miller. Miller led the team in scoring last season, averaging 20.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, one steal and 0.7 blocks. Miller also converted on 38.3% of 3-point attempts, a career high mark. Heading into the 2026-27 season, Miller will have a prime opportunity to cement himself as a franchise star.
