After falling to the Detroit Pistons Wednesday, the Charlotte Hornets will face Washington on the road Friday, their second game against the Wizards in the last four days. The contest also marks the beginning of Group Play in the NBA Cup. Charlotte got the better of their Southeast Division rivals Monday night, as star forward Brandon Miller dropped a career-high 39 points to go along with six rebounds, three steals and two blocks. Moussa Diabate also wreaked havoc on the Wizards, tallying 11 points and 17 rebounds, 11 of which were on the offensive glass.
However, Washington will have reinforcements, as recent No. 1 overall pick AJ Dybantsa has returned from an ankle injury that kept him sidelined for the first four games of the year.
