The Orlando Magic (2-4) host the Washington Wizards (3-3) in a back-to-back at the Kia Center on Monday, and if you want to catch the action live, you’re in the right place.
The Magic are coming off a 108-97 loss to the Boston Celtics on Sunday, dropping to 0-3 at home early in the season. They trailed by three points entering the fourth quarter, but they were outscored 31-23 after shooting just 29.2% from the field over the last 12 minutes.
Anthony Black scored 23 points and eight rebounds, Tristan da Silva had a season-high 23 points and 10 rebounds and Desmond Bane added 19 points to lead the Magic. Da Silva recorded just his second career double-double with the performance.
The Wizards knocked off the Charlotte Hornets 95-79 on Friday to tip
off the NBA Cup. They held the Hornets to 29.7% shooting from the field (30-for-101), the fourth-lowest percentage allowed in a single game in franchise history.
Anthony Davis led the Wizards with 25 points and 13 rebounds, while Trae Young had 21 points and nine assists and AJ Dybantsa had 17 points and seven rebounds. Dybantsa has tallied 36 over his first two appearances after missing the first four games with an ankle injury.
Washington and Orlando are meeting for the first of four regular-season matchups. The Magic won the series 3-1 last year and have won 13 of the last 14 games overall.
