The Charlotte Hornets organization is looking for more talented basketball players to join their G-League team, the Greensboro Swarm, ahead of the 2026-27 season. Last week, the Swarm joined a list of many other G-League teams to host open tryouts, giving fans an opportunity to earn a professional contract.
September 19, the Swarm will officially host tryouts from 10 AM to 2 PM at Leonard J. Kaplan Center for Wellness located inside the campus of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). Space is limited to the first 125 individuals to sign up, and an application fee will cost $260 or $300, depending on when you submit your application..
Out of all the G-League squads to join, the Swarm may be one of the most lucrative options, having
won their first-ever G-League title last season, sweeping the Stockton Kings 2-0 in a three-game series.
