After a three-game home stand, the Charlotte Hornets travel to Detroit Wednesday to take on the Pistons. Having finished No. 1 in the Eastern Conference a season ago, Detroit will test the Hornets, who are looking to snap a playoff drought that dates back to the 2015-16 season.
Once again, the Hornets will be without Coby White and Kon Knueppel, who are set to miss their fifth straight game to begin the season. For Detroit, they'll be without All-Star center Jalen Duren, who is recovering from a hamstring strain. Isaiah Joe, one of Detroit's 3-point specialists, has been listed as day-to-day, having missed Tuesday's loss against the New York Knicks.
