The Charlotte Hornets expect big things from Kon Knueppel as he enters his sophomore season. As a rookie, the former No. 4 overall pick was phenomenal, cementing himself as one of the league's best 3-point shooters. Knueppel converted on 42.5% of his attempts while leading the league in 3-pointers made. The former Duke Blue Devil also averaged 18.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 0.7 steals.

While Knueppel may miss the beginning of the season due to injury, a franchise legend voiced his confidence in Knueppel, citing a new role for the Wisconsin native. "Not a lot of teams will ask a second-year guy to take on a more vocal leadership role. He earned it last year; he's one of the most mature rookies that I've seen come through the NBA. He doesn't
