Cameron Boozer registered his first career double-double and hit a clutch shot late, sending the Memphis Grizzlies to a comeback win over the Golden State Warriors on Friday.
Boozer produced 25 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and two steals in the 111-108 victory on the road at the Chase Center. He shot 6-for-13 from the field, including 4-for-7 from 3-point range, and was a plus-12 on the court in 37 minutes.
The third overall pick scored 11 points in the second half, including the go-ahead shot with 19.7 seconds left in the fourth quarter. The basket came as part of a 17-2 run the Grizzlies used to overcome a 12-point deficit with just under four minutes left in the game.
"He was on right from the get-go," Grizzlies coach Tuomas Iisalo said.
"I think him not knocking down shots in a couple of games led to them giving him a little bit open space. He started 3-for-3 and was feeling good and, overall, a high-level rookie matchup who just does it all. No matter which role he is in, he is relentless. He had our highest minutes tonight and seems to be able to push through it without any sign of fatigue."

Boozer became the third-youngest player in history (19 years, 97 days) to record at least 25 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in a game, behind only Cooper Flagg and LeBron James. He is one of five rookies in franchise history to reach that mark.
The performance came after Boozer went just 2-for-15 in his debut on Wednesday, finishing with seven points in a win over the Utah Jazz. While he struggled to shoot, he hauled in 11 rebounds and dished out five assists in 33 minutes.
Boozer is off to a productive start and a key reason why the Grizzlies are 2-0. He and the team have relied on their defense early on and believe it can be even better moving forward.
"Our defense at times this game was a little shaky, we got to pick it up going into next game," Boozer said. "But overall, I'm happy with these guys. We compete. We're tough; that's how you win games."
