Bismack Biyombo was one of the few players to suit up for both the Charlotte Bobcats and the Charlotte Hornets, as his tenure with the franchise overlapped with the team's name change. Biyombo, who wore the No. 0, was acquired on a draft night trade in 2011 after being selected with the No. 7 overall pick by the Sacramento Kings. Biyombo spent four seasons with Charlotte before signing a free agent deal with the Toronto Raptors ahead of the 2015-16 season. The Congolese native would return to the franchise later on in his career for three more seasons but would wear a different number (No. 8).
During those four seasons to begin his career, Biyombo averaged 4.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 0.3 assists, 0.3 steals and 1.6 blocks. Now a 15-year NBA veteran,
Biyombo most recently played for the San Antonio Spurs, who finished runner-up to the New York Knicks during the 2025-26 season. Now age 34, Biyombo is a current free agent.
