Philadelphia 76ers rookie Labaron Philon Jr. was among the players who participated in a pickup game on Monday organized by assistant coach Rico Hines in Southern California.
Philon was pictured playing alongside Sixers teammates Dominick Barlow, Adem Bona, VJ Edgecombe and Caleb Love. They went up against a group featuring Boston Celtics center Luka Garza and Sacramento Kings guard Daeqwon Plowden, according to Dave McMenamin of ESPN.
Hines hosts the on-court runs each summer at UCLA and has often enlisted some of the top players in the NBA. The sessions often feature exciting highlights of the group working on the court.

Philon was the 22nd overall pick in the 2026 NBA draft after averaging 22 points, five
assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals while shooting 39.9% from 3-point range last season at Alabama. His 725 total points ranked as the third-most in a single season in program history.
The 20-year-old debuted with the Sixers in the NBA Summer League, averaging 18.5 points, 5.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in four games. He scored 15 or more points in each appearance, including a 24-point effort on July 11.
Philon joins a team expected to be among the title front-runners, following the offseason additions of LeBron James and Jaylen Brown. The team was ecstatic to add him and believes he'll have the chance to compete for rotation minutes in training camp.
