The Charlotte Hornets made another offseason move last week, signing former Presbyterian guard Kobe Stewart to an exhibit 10 contract. The deal is non-guaranteed but will allow the Hornets to retain Stewart's G-League rights if he's unable to make Charlotte's roster, which is the most likely outcome.
Stewart spent his summer league with the Milwaukee Bucks and combined to play 34 G-League games between the Wisconsin Herd and Memphis Hustle last season. In those games, Stewart averaged nine points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.8 steals in 21.2 minutes per game. Stewart played in three of Milwaukee's five summer league contests, scoring 10 points in 31 minutes of playing time.
In his senior season (2024-25) with Presbyterian, Stewart averaged
15.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.3 blocks.
