Thursday afternoon, the Charlotte Hornets announced their broadcasters for the upcoming 2026-27 NBA season. Following a brand new deal to broadcast games locally on WSOC-TV and TV64, the Hornets revealed that analyst Dell Curry and play-by-play commentator Eric Collins will remain with the team. The two have become a staple in Charlotte's broadcasts, having worked together beginning in the 2015-16 season. The crew has also gained national notoriety, inking a deal with Amazon Prime for select primetime broadcasts last season.
With the city in search of their first playoff appearance since the aforementioned 2015-16 season, Curry and Collins are the perfect duo to track Charlotte's progress along the way. Last year, the team nearly got over the hump,
finishing one game away from a postseason berth after falling to the Orlando Magic in the NBA Play-In Tournament.
