Following Bismack Biyombo, former VCU point guard Briante Weber was the fifth player in Charlotte Hornets franchise history to wear the No. 0. Due to his exceptional defense in college, averaging 2.9 steals over 127 collegiate contests, Weber earned a chance at the NBA level with a handful of teams.
Weber's NBA career only lasted three seasons, and he played for five different teams in those three years. During his time with the Charlotte Hornets, Weber spent time as a reserve guard, making 13 appearances during the 2016-17 season. In those games, Weber averaged 3.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.7 steals in 12.2 minutes per game. Following the 2018-19 season, Weber would leave both the G-League and the NBA, looking to establish a career overseas.
He's played abroad since then and currently plays for Karsiyaka Basket in the Turkish Basketball Super League.
