Prior to the release of NBA 2K27, the Charlotte Hornets had three players ranked among the top-100 in the game. Although the official release date is September 4, early access opened to players this week. Since then, Hornets fans have started playing the game, searching for features or Easter eggs unique to the Charlotte fan base.
A one-of-a-kind Hornets celebration was discovered Wednesday, labeled in the game as the "Charlotte Moose" celebration. This, of course, refers to Moussa "The Moose" Diabate and his signature celebration that took Charlotte by storm last season. The celebration became so iconic that the Hornets fan shop began selling foam moose antlers for purchase. After averaging 7.9 points, 8.7 rebounds, one block and 0.8 steals
in his second season with the Hornets, Diabate is certain to provide more reasons for Charlotte fans to celebrate during the 2026-27 season.
