Former Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges was the sixth player to wear the No. 0 in franchise history and by far the most impactful. After being selected with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft out of Michigan State, Bridges spent seven years with the franchise before an offseason trade sent him to the Phoenix Suns.
In 501 contests with the Hornets, Bridges averaged 15.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks while shooting 46.1% from the field and 33.8% from beyond the arc. Bridges averaged over 20 points per game in three of his seven seasons with Charlotte, his highest total (21 PPG) coming in the 2023-24 campaign.
At the time of the trade, Bridges ranked fourth in games played for the franchise and third
in points.
