The Orlando Magic (2-5) tip off a four-game road trip against the Phoenix Suns (1-5) at the Mortgage Matchup Center on Thursday, and if you want to catch the action live, you’re in the right place.
The Magic are coming off a 103-94 loss against the Washington Wizards on Monday, dropping to 0-4 in Central Florida. They trailed 60-59 at halftime, but they shot just 35.9% from the field and were held to just 35 points in the second half, including nine in the third quarter.
Without Paolo Banchero, Jalen Suggs and Anthony Black, Franz Wagner led the Magic with 24 points and six assists, while Desmond Bane scored 20 points and Tristan da Silva added 10 points off the bench. Bane has shot 43.8% from 3-point range (21-for-48) over his last five games.
The Suns began a season-high seven-game homestand on Wednesday, falling 132-119 to the Portland Trail Blazers. After leading in the first quarter, they were outscored 43-25 in the second quarter and trailed for the remainder of the game.
Orlando and Phoenix are meeting for the first of two regular-season matchups. They split the season series last year, though the Magic have won 11 of their last 19 meetings.
