Charlotte Hornets forward Kon Knueppel recently filmed a video with trading card company Topps, choosing his all-time NBA starting five. While last year's 3-point leader didn't choose himself or any former Hornets players, he did choose three active NBA players.
To begin with, Knueppel chose Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs to play the center position, citing his shooting, defense and playmaking ability. He followed up that pick by choosing an all-time Spurs player, Hall of Famer and five-time NBA champion Tim Duncan. To fill out his frontcourt, Knueppel chose the recently signed LeBron James, who is set to enter his 24th NBA season and his first with the Philadelphia 76ers.
After that, Knueppel picked another player in the all-time
debate, Chicago Bulls legend, 10-time scoring champion and six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan. Lastly, Knueppel finished out his starting five with one last current player, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry.
