The Charlotte Hornets continue to make roster moves ahead of training camp. Following recent trades with the Atlanta Hawks and the Chicago Bulls

, the Hornets cut two point guards from their roster. Former Dallas Mavericks guard Ryan Nembhard was first to go, being waived by the team Saturday. Following media day Monday, Shams Charania reported that former No. 8 overall pick and recent trade acquisition Rob Dillingham would also be waived.

Dillingham, a product of Kentucky has played two NBA seasons between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the aforementioned Bulls, averaging 5.5 points, 2.1 assists, 1.6 rebounds and 0.6 steals. The move to Charlotte marked a temporary homecoming for Dillingham, who grew up in Hickory, North Carolina, and began

his high school basketball career at Combine Academy in Lincolnton, North Carolina.

With the move, the Hornets' roster now sits at 16 players, one over the 15-man limit.
