Dennis Schroder, the newest point guard addition for the Charlotte Hornets, participated in the DBB Supercup Saturday, representing Germany. Although Schroder is one of three Germans on the Hornets roster, recently selected rookies Hannes Steinbach and Christian Anderson Jr. withdrew themselves from international competition this summer to prepare for their first NBA seasons.

Friday against the Czech Republic, Schroder was impressive, tallying 17 points, 10 assists and two rebounds. Against Croatia in the final, it was more of the same as Schroder posted another double-double with 10 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds and three steals.
