Charlotte Hornets guard Coby White made his season debut Monday against the Detroit Pistons, returning after a seven-game absence as the former UNC guard was dealing with a calf strain. Now, ahead of Charlotte's road matchup Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets, sharpshooting forward Kon Knueppel has been listed as probable to make his season debut.
Knueppel, who took the NBA by storm as a rookie, will provide much-needed shooting efficiency to a Hornets team that is dead last in field goal percentage and 16th in 3-point percentage despite averaging more attempts than any other NBA team. Also listed as probable is the aforementioned White, who played on a minutes restriction against Detroit. Grant Williams, who is sidelined with a hamstring strain,
is the only player listed out for the Hornets.
Brooklyn will also be without one of their main contributors, sophomore guard Egor Demin.
