During the 2012-2013 season, the Charlotte Bobcats signed former UConn forward Jeff Adrien after he impressed in the G-League with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Adrien, an undrafted free agent from the 2009 class, played two NBA seasons prior to his stint with Charlotte, his rookie year with the Golden State Warriors and his sophomore campaign with the Houston Rockets.
Following the move, Adrien would remain with the Bobcats through the 2012-13 season and was traded at the February trade deadline during the 2013-14 campaign, as Charlotte would send him to the Milwaukee Bucks. In 77 games with the Bobcats, Adrien averaged 3.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.3 steals and 0.5 blocks. Adrien's final NBA season would come a year later, suiting
up in 17 games for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
