Markieff Morris, a former 14-year veteran and NBA champion, recently proposed a wild prediction as NBA free agency unfolds during the summer of 2026. Morris predicted that two former Houston Rockets stars would find new teams, with both of them switching conferences.
Morris posted to social media that he projects former Rockets guard Jalen Green will wind up on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Morris also believes that LeBron James, his former teammate with the Los Angeles Lakers, will join Green there. However, if that wasn't crazy enough, Morris also expects that former Houston MVP James Harden will return to the Western Conference as a member of the Phoenix Suns.
Considering Green is not a free agent, a sign-and-trade involving him and Harden would
have to take place between the Suns and Cavaliers, an unlikely outcome as the Phoenix just acquired Green from Houston last summer.
