Former Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley has agreed to a new contract in Europe, joining Boulazac Basket Dordogne in France, according to BasketNews. Beverley is no stranger to playing overseas, having played three seasons between Greece and Russia before making his NBA debut with the Rockets during the 2012-13 campaign.
Before being traded for Chris Paul ahead of the 2017-18 season, Beverley spent five years in Houston, making two All-Defensive Teams while averaging 9.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.4 blocks in 291 games. From there, the former Arkansas guard played four seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers, making one more defensive team and finishing a career-best sixth place in Defensive Player of the Year Award
voting. Following his time in Los Angeles, Beverley bounced around, playing for five different franchises in three seasons.
Since his last NBA season (2023-24), Beverley has continued to play in Europe and is now moving to his third team since leaving the NBA, having played for Hapoel Tel Aviv and PAOK Thessaloniki prior to his new deal with Boulazac Basket Dordogne. Although his days in the NBA are likely numbered, Rockets fans will never forget the tenacity and hustle displayed by "Mr. 94 Feet."
