Kevin Durant meets up with Arch Manning after Texas takes down Ohio State

Texas (No. 4) did the unthinkable Saturday, defeating No. 1-ranked Ohio State behind an incredible fourth-quarter comeback. Despite entering the final frame trailing 23-3, the Longhorns scored 21 unanswered points to win 24-23 and improve to 2-0 on the season. Following the game, Houston Rockets forward Kevin Durant was seen embracing Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning, the nephew of Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning.

Durant, an alum from the University of Texas, played one season for the Longhorns and dominated the NCAA. In 35 games for Texas, Durant averaged 25.8 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.9 blocks. As a result, Durant won the Wooden Award, the AP Player of the Year Award and the Naismith Award.

Despite these achievements, he would go No. 2 overall in the 2007 NBA Draft, being selected behind an Ohio State alum, Greg Oden.
