Expectations were high for Steven Adams entering his second full season in Houston, as the duo of Adams and Alperen Sengun could create a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses. However, Adam's 2025-26 campaign was short-lived, when an ankle injury cut his 12th NBA season short after 32 games.
That said, when on the floor, Adams performed to his strengths, setting hard screens and crashing the glass. In 22.8 minutes per game, Adams averaged 5.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.6 blocks and an incredible 4.5 offensive rebounds per game. Having missed a combined 156 games in the last three seasons, Rockets fans are hopeful for a fully healthy season from the New Zealand Native during the 2026-27 campaign.
