The Houston Rockets are always scouting out talent, even with the 2026-27 season fast approaching. According to basketball insider Olgun Uluc, Houston is among six NBA teams that will be in attendance to scout international prospect Dash Daniels during the 2026 NBL Blitz. The NBL Blitz is a preseason tournament for the league, scheduled to take place from September 2 to 6.
Daniels is the younger brother of current Atlanta Hawks guard Dyson Daniels, who is widely regarded as one of the league's best perimeter defenders, having finished second in Defensive Player of the Year Award voting and having made two consecutive All-Defensive Teams. Dash is a prospect for the 2027 NBA Draft and is listed as a 6'5" combo guard. In 33 games for Melbourne United
last season, Daniels averaged 4.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.2 blocks in 14.2 minutes per contest.
