The Arizona Cardinals have a vacancy on their practice squad, but it appears they have found their guy. According to CBS Sports' Matt Zennitz, they are signing cornerback D'Shawn Jamison to their practice squad, which would complete their unit.
Jamison had a visit with the Cardinals, per the NFL transaction report on Wednesday, which often signifies a signing. The Cardinals will likely announce the signing on Thursday.
Jamison is a 5-10, 185-pound cornerback who has been in the league since 2023, when he signed with the San Francisco 49ers as a rookie free agent out of Texas. He has spent time with the 49ers, Carolina Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers.
While with the Panthers from August 2023 to August 2024, he appeared in 15 games, starting once,
and logging 10 total tackles and a pass breakup. He played 107 snaps on defense and 155 on special teams.
He spent all of 2024 on the Steelers' practice squad and bounced between their practice squad and the active roster in 2025, appearing in three games and playing 11 snaps on special teams.
He can also return kicks.
