The Arizona Cardinals released their inactive list 90 minutes before kickoff against the Seattle Seahawks, and they get a big boost defensively. After missing two games with an ankle injury, defensive lineman Walter Nolen returns to the lineup. He was questionable to play after being limited all week in practice. He would suit up.
Also good to go was cornerback Max Melton, who has been dealing with a knee injury.
The inactives were expected.
Cardinals Week 9 inactive list
- RB Bam Knight
- CB Star Thomas
- OLB Eku Leota
- OL Jayden Williams
- OL Jon Gaines
- OL Albert Reese
Knight, Williams and Gaines were ruled out with injuries.
Thomas hasn't been active in several weeks. Leota is a healthy scratch for the second straight week.
Josh Fryar will likely start at left tackle in place of Williams. Isaiah Adams returns to the lineup after missing four games on injured reserve. He will start at right
guard. Hayden Conner, Jedrick Wills and Kingsley Eguakun were the Cardinals' reserve offensive linemen.
Rookie quarterback Carson Beck was active for the first time, now the backup quarterback to Gardner Minshew.
