The Arizona Cardinals face the Detroit Lions on Sunday in Week 5. That means facing one of the quarterbacks with the most success against the Cardinals. Lions quarterback Jared Goff has been nothing short of spectacular in his career against the Cardinals.
In 10 career starts, he is 9-1 with 16 touchdown passes and four interceptions. He has also rushed for three touchdowns against them.
The Cardinals haven't beaten Goff since his rookie season in 2016. In that game, it was a 44-6 loss as a member of the LA Rams. He was sacked seven times. He didn't have a touchdown pass or an interception.
That means, in nine games against the Cardinals, he is 9-0 with 16 touchdown passes and three rushing touchdowns. He accounts for an average of just more than
two touchdowns a game against the Cardinals.
He also comes in red-hot. While the Lions are 2-2, Goff is No. 2 in the NFL with 1,214 passing yards, and he has thrown nine touchdown passes without an interception. He has a 108.6 passer rating.
The Cardinals have allowed 10 touchdown passes in their last three games.
The Cardinals haven't beaten Goff since 2016. They haven't beaten the Lions since 2015.
